Rock & Gravel Roof

Bitumen applied to a roof on its own will degrade from exposure to ultraviolet radiation and rapid heating and cooling. Layering crushed rock or gravel on top of the roof is an inexpensive way to protect the layers below and substantially increase the lifespan of your roof.
